Common questions

Does Free upload my process list? No. Catalog sync is download-only; suggestions are opt-in and omit sensitive command-line values.

Where do I buy Pro? systemwoe.com/pro/buy (Paddle). Activate the key in Pro → Settings → License.

Does buying Pro unlock the App Store Free app? No. Pro is a separate notarized download. See Free vs Pro.

Why don’t disk rates match Activity Monitor exactly? macOS may delay or reassign physical writes through the buffer cache. SystemWoe treats rankings as guidance, not perfect forensic truth.

How do Ports / Destinations work? Pro runs a budgeted socket snapshot when you press Scan or enable Live — not on every sample tick. LISTEN-only is the default.

Prometheus / MCP? Opt-in under Settings → Integrations. Bound to 127.0.0.1 only; MCP tools are read-only.
